SIU Appeals for Witnesses, Dashcam Footage in Brampton Crash Involving Police Officer

Investigators are investigating the circumstances of the collision where an officer and a 63-year-old man were seriously injured

Peel Police cordoned off the area near Torbram Road and Williams Parkway - where an accident involving a Peel police officer took place - while the SIU investigates.

The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is looking for witnesses or dash cam footage of an accident in Brampton that left a police officer and a civilian seriously injured.
The collision happened at 5:22 a.m. on February 5 near the intersection of Williams Parkway and Torbram Road in Brampton.
An on-duty Peel police officer and a 63-year-old man were both sent to hospital with serious injuries.
Three investigators and two forensic investigators have been assigned to the case and are looking for evidence and information.
