Redmi K60 leaked specs reveal SoC and camera details

Key specs of the upcoming Redmi K60 smartphone have surfaced online ahead of its rumored 2023 launch in India. Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to unveil new 13-series smartphones in China later this month.

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station recently reported that the Xiaomi 13 series will hit the cover in November. Additionally, DCS says the range will go on sale in December.

For those who don’t know, the Xiaomi 13 series includes the basic Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphones. Additionally, these handsets are likely to pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand is preparing to release the next high-end K-series smartphones in the Chinese market by the end of 2022.

Past leaks suggest that the K50 series will have three smartphones. This includes the Redmi K60, K60 Pro and K60 Gaming Edition.

Redmi K60 Specifications

Now, the K60 Gaming Edition is said to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. However, the K60 Pro will likely come with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Redmi K60 Game

The specifications of the standard Redmi K60 smartphone have been revealed. First of all, the vanilla Redmi K60 series could receive the new SoC Dimensity 8200.

This vital information comes from Digital Chat Station (via Playful Droid). Additionally, DCS shed some light on the camera hardware of the vanilla K60 model.

Notably, the Redmi K60 series is expected to become official in China by the end of this year. The vanilla K60 might be the most affordable smartphone in the lineup.

Similarly, the Dimensity 8200 SoC would debut at the MediaTek event. The event will take place in China on November 8.

Redmi K50 Ultra

The upcoming chipset might feature a Cortex-X2 Prime Core, which is also available in the Dimensity 9000 SoC. Additionally, the maximum clock speed of the SoC is said to be 3.1 GHz.

Additionally, DCS believes the K60 5G will come with a 48MP main sensor with OIS support. It could also sport a QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

In addition, a 5500 mAh battery will power the entire system. Additionally, this cell will support 67W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging.

Finally, the device will boot Android 13 with MIUI on top. However, it is unknown if the phones will receive MIUI 13 or MIUI 14.
