Redmi K50 Series Specifications Inline Surfaces, 108MP Camera Tilted
Key details about the Redmi K50 series smartphones have emerged online, revealing what the next line could offer in terms of specifications. Redmi’s K50 series has been around the rumor mill for a long time. In addition, the K50 range has been the subject of a few leaks lately. Earlier this month, a report said the Redmi K50 series will feature an optical fingerprint sensor that will be integrated into the phone’s display.
As mentioned, several official looking renderings of the upcoming K50 series have appeared on the internet. Last month, MyDrivers found Redmi K50 design renderings that featured the device’s front panel. Now, more vital information about the Redmi K50 series has been leaked ahead of launch, thanks to a prominent informant. The leak discloses some key specifications of the Redmi K50 models. However, it should be mentioned here that Redmi has yet to officially reveal the leaked information about the series.
Redmi K50 series specifications
Earlier today, on November 4, Digital Chat Station revealed some key specifications for the upcoming Xiaomi I11 series smartphones. However, if the leak is something to do, the tipster might be referring to the Redmi K50 models. According to the aforementioned leak, the alleged Xiaomi phone will feature a top-notch curved-edge display. Other than that, the leak claims that the phone will pack the flagship Snapdragon 8 series chipset under the hood.
Additionally, the Xiaomi phone could get its juice from a sturdy battery with 67W fast charging support. In the optics department, the phone will likely house a 108 MP main camera. Apart from that, the device will feature two JBL stereo speakers and an x-axis motor. As a reminder, Redmi is collaborating with JBL for its Note 11 series. Therefore, it seems safe to say that Digital Chat Station could actually refer to the Redmi K50 series smartphones.
What else to expect?
It looks like the tipster might be talking about the specifications of the Redmi K50 Pro or Redmi K50 Pro + smartphone. As a reminder, the K40 series includes three smartphones. These include the Redmi K40, K40 Pro, and K40 Pro Plus models. Word on the street is that the Redmi K50 series will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and offer three models. The K50 range could include a Redmi K50, K50 Pro and K50 Pro Plus model.
Earlier this month, a leak from MyDrivers indicated that the K005 models will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. In other words, the K50 series smartphones could sport an AMOLED panel. Additionally, the K50 line is likely to pack the Snapdragon 888 or Snapdragon 870 chipset under the hood. The K50 Pro and K50 Pro Plus, on the other hand, could be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 898 SoC.
