Police investigating baby death in car crash use doorbell camera and other footage

Officers are trying to piece together the moments that led to the fatal crash that killed six-month-old Eva Maria Nichifor on Friday.

Dyfed-Powys Police are asking people to determine if they have CCTV or doorbell footage that could help them get a picture of the late-night crash at the Heol Goffa junction in Llanelli.

They are especially eager to speak to people and businesses living and working in the Eastgate parking lot (near Travelodge, Nando’s, Lextan), Andrew Street, Llanelli and Corporation Avenue near the fire hall.

They would also like to hear from motorists who might have images from the dashcam and who were in these areas between 8:40 p.m. and 9 p.m. on the night of the collision.

The two-car crash between a blue BMW 3 Series and a blue Vauxhall Vectra happened around 9 p.m. on October 8.
