The Oppo Reno 8 series may debut soon. The company is expected to launch the Reno 7 series successor models later this month in China. Oppo is rumored to launch at least three devices in the series. Oppo Reno 8 Lite 5G is expected to launch later this month in China. Ahead of the launch, the main specs of the device have been leaked online. According to details disclosed by WinFuture, the Reno 8 Lite will look a lot like the Reno 7Z launched in Europe. The phone will sport a flat screen with a slightly thick chin. It will also have a triple camera setup on the back. The phone will be launched in two colors – Black and Rainbow Silver.
According to the report, the device will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The screen will support a 90Hz refresh rate. It will have a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner for the front camera.
The device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. It will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There will be support for storage expansion via a microSD card slot.
As mentioned above, there will be a triple camera setup. The phone will feature a 64-megapixel main camera with phase detection autofocus. Alongside, there will be two 2MP sensors for depth sensing and macro photography. For selfies and video calls, the phone will feature a 16 MP front camera sensor.
Under the hood, there will be a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The phone will run Android 11 out of the box with a layer of ColorOS 12 on top. It will also come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
