The phone appears to feature a glossy plastic back panel with curved sides. Moreover, the phone has a flat frame, which is probably made of plastic material. Additionally, it houses a rectangular camera island on the back. This camera module appears to house two large cutouts and a small third cutout. In addition, the camera module accommodates an LED flash. The right edge features the fingerprint reader. Similarly, the volume buttons and the SIM tray are available on the left edge.

Additionally, the report suggests that the upcoming Lite version of the Nord CE 2 will have a hybrid SIM tray. In other words, the phone will not have a dedicated micro-SD card slot. At the bottom, there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. Other than that, the bottom edge provides real estate for the main speaker grille. Unfortunately, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite renders do not show the front panel. However, past leaks suggest the phone will have a punch-hole cutout in the top left corner of the display.

The phone will boot Android 12 operating system with a layer of Oxygen OS 12 on top. Moreover, it will be the first Nord series phone to run the latest Android 12 operating system. Earlier reports suggest that it will sport a 6.58-inch display with Full HD+ resolution. On top of that, the phone will pack a Snapdragon 695 SoC with 5G support. For optics, it would come with a 64 MP main camera and a few 2 MP depth and macro shooters on the back.

On the front, the phone is said to feature a 16MP selfie camera. Additionally, it will draw juice from a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. Finally, the phone is likely to support a 90Hz refresh rate.
