Katie Price is selling a pair of old Gucci trainers online for £170 as she scrambles to generate cash ahead of a bankruptcy hearing.
The self-proclaimed animal lover listed the shoes – adorned with real lamb hair – among a wide range of items she sells on fashion marketplace app Depop. The former glamor model has racked up over £1,700 worth of flogging items on the app over the past two months, according to The Sun.
The mother-of-five, who was once worth £45million, is selling items from her second-hand wardrobe in a bid to clear her debts. It was declared bankrupt in 2019.
The former I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here campmate has been forced to repay £12,000 a month to creditors via an Individual Voluntary Agreement following her bankruptcy.
And Price has already been victimized by animal rights activists. More than 20,000 people have signed a petition, launched in 2021, demanding that she be banned for life from owning pets.
The online petition was launched after the death of 43-year-old French bulldog Rolo. The carer of Price’s eldest son, Harvey, found the dog after he got stuck under an armchair.
The petition gained momentum when Price reportedly donated a puppy she had originally purchased for her daughter, Princess. She reportedly gave the dog to a crew member on her last TV show. The puppy, called Precious, was a gift for Princess after Rolo died.
